Job summary

Mace is seeking a qualified cost management professional to lead consultancy and construction cost activities across our Cities & Places sector. Based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Winchester, you will guide cost planning, procurement, and reporting to deliver client-focused outcomes.

You will bring MRICS/RICS, a degree in quantity surveying or cost management, and proven consulting experience with strong commercial and financial acumen.

• Managing estimating, cost planning, and valuations, presenting accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
• Overseeing contracts, claims, and completion processes, driving successful project outcomes.

You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree in quantity surveying or cost management.
• Professional membership (MRICS/RICS or equivalent), progressing toward fellowship.
• Proven consulting experience with strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Expertise in value engineering, sustainability, and stakeholder management within diverse teams.
