Job summary

Mace, a leading construction consultancy, seeks an experienced professional to lead cost planning, procurement strategies and robust reporting across our Cities & Places portfolio in the UK. Based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Winchester, you will work with clients to deliver value and drive performance.

You will mentor teams, champion sustainable, net-zero delivery, and manage feasibility studies, tenders and contract selections to achieve measurable outcomes for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying or cost management.
• MRICS/RICS or equivalent membership, progressing toward fellowship.
• Proven consulting experience with strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Expertise in value engineering, sustainability, and stakeholder management within diverse teams.

• Upholding integrity, managing ethically viable operations and driving net zero carbon transition.

You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree in quantity surveying or cost management.
• Professional membership (MRICS/RICS or equivalent), progressing toward fellowship.

• Expertise in value engineering, sustainability, and stakeholder management within diverse teams.
