Job summary

BDO in the United Kingdom is seeking a talented Tax professional to deliver compliance and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. You will work with a shared service team and technology tools to support client take-on, billing, and tax planning.

You will manage relationships with senior client management, progress within the practice through CPD, and identify opportunities to expand services, while ensuring quality and risk controls across engagements.

Qualifications

• In-depth up-to-date knowledge of taxation with ability to deal with complex tax issues.
• Experience in project and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients using shared service resources or technology tools.
• Manage a portfolio of clients including onboarding, engagement scope, billings and identifying opportunities to improve recoveries and cash collection.
• Commit to CPD and ongoing professional development to progress within the practice.
• Manage a substantial client portfolio profitably while seeking opportunities to develop new clients and sell services.
