  • Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research
  • Provide a technical resource to our network of smaller accountants, whether this is by phone or email support service
  • Support with the management, training and development of the tax team, including junior and senior members of the team.
  • Have primary responsibility for the operational aspects of the corporation tax compliance process and assist and support members of the team with more complex corporation tax issues
  • Work collaboratively with senior managers of the audit department to enhance cross department relationships and provide an exceptional service to clients

  • Have solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues including corporation tax, income, and capital gains tax, with a bias towards corporation tax.
  • Have some exposure to VAT issues would be an advantage, but it’s not a necessity
  • Have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small
  • Be confident in leading the corporation tax compliance team and working to achieve great things alongside the wider team
