The UK Financial Advisory Restructuring Tax team, part of a global CEO advisory firm, is seeking an Associate Director to lead tax advisory work on restructuring transactions. This role combines deep tax technical work with some compliance duties and offers exposure to high-profile, cross-border matters.

You will work with lenders, borrowers and legal advisers to design tax-efficient solutions, review reporting packages, and advise on the tax consequences of restructuring actions.

Qualifications

• ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification
• Strong UK tax technical skills
• Strong communication, team playing and project management skills
• Ability to perform strongly under pressure

Responsabilités

• Work directly with advisory colleagues and external stakeholders to understand requirements of each restructuring transaction
• Develop a strategy for achieving commercial aims in a tax efficient manner
• Reviewing and preparing reports to meet transaction aims
• Advising insolvency practitioners on tax consequences of restructuring actions
• Advising on submission of appropriate tax returns or documentation to tax authorities
• Supporting business development and relationship building with clients
