Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment in Winchester, Hampshire is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to partner with Tax Partners on a broad range of advisory assignments, including reorganisations, management buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, demergers and succession planning.

You will advise business owners on personal and commercial tax considerations arising from transactions, support clients in capital allowances, R&D claims and tax accounting, and contribute to client development

Responsibilities

• Work with Tax Partners on advisory assignments including reorganisations, MBOs, M&As, due diligence, demergers and succession planning.
• Advise business owners on personal and commercial tax considerations arising from corporate transactions and strategic decisions.
• Support clients with taxation areas including capital allowances, R&D claims, tax accounting and obtaining HMRC clearances.
• Help develop new client relationships and support the transition of new clients into the firm.
• Prepare corporation tax computations for complex clients and ensure issues are addressed.
• Review CT computations produced by accounts teams across varied client base.
• Take responsibility for key CT compliance projects, including ATED returns and relief declarations.
• Prepare clear tax reports, technical papers and advisory correspondence.
• Manage assignments from planning through to completion within timescales and budget.
• Collaborate with colleagues across tax and accounts teams to deliver high-quality service.
• Provide guidance, coaching and technical support to junior team members.
• Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and firm standards.
