Job summary

Taxation in Manchester is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to oversee mainly OMB and some PLC clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. You will report to Managers and Senior Managers, assisting with research for advisory work and handling projects such as M&A transactions or shareholder tax planning.

The role is based in central Manchester with a hybrid option (minimum 3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Professional tax qualification (ATT/CTA/ACCA) or part-qualified.
• Experience in corporate tax or mixed tax within a practice environment.
• Ability to manage a portfolio and supervise junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mainly OMB and some PLC clients, delivering tax compliance and advisory services.
• Contribute to advisory work on M&A transactions and shareholder tax planning.
• Manage your portfolio and supervise junior staff.
• Engage with clients and HMRC from day one.
