Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Tax Jobs in London, is currently working with one of the UK’s fastest-growing accountancy firms that would like to appoint a Senior Corporate Tax Advisor in their Heathrow office. The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and provide an all-encompassing tax service, including complex advisory work.

The Role:

• Handle a complex client portfolio with limited day-to-day supervision.
• Manage and oversee all aspects related to the preparation of complex corporation tax computations and returns.
• Provide complex advisory services, including but not limited to R&D, Patent Box, Transfer Pricing, Restructuring, and Share Schemes, with adequate support.
• Specialize in certain areas of complex taxation.
• Review tax accounting disclosures in company accounts (if applicable).
• Conduct tax audit reviews and due diligence work as required (if applicable).
• Assist others in the tax team and the wider firm with tax queries.
• Develop client relationships to become the first point of contact for client queries.
• Meet new clients and help grow the tax service line.
• Review topical tax matters and advise appropriate clients.
• Engage in technical writing and internal technical presentations.
• Handle one-off projects as they arise with adequate support.
• Ensure good working capital management, including billing, Work In Progress, and debt recoverability.
• Attend in-house meetings and external courses.
• Develop strong client relationships.

Requirements:

• An all-round tax background encompassing corporate taxation.
• Ability to manage a complex portfolio effectively and meet client expectations.
• Team player capable of developing good relationships with clients and within the firm.
• Ability to manage workload and time effectively.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Use initiative to assist clients without direct support.
• Ability to review and complete complex corporate and/or personal tax returns.
• Ability to cope with the pressure of meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing complex advisory work.
• Experience attending, contributing to, and leading client meetings.
