Job Description:

This firm is currently looking to recruit a Solicitor to join its corporate team based in Glasgow. Ideally, you will have at least 5 years’+ PQE and will be involved in providing ongoing corporate and commercial advice to a wide range of private and public-sector clients.

You will be involved in the following:

1. A wide range of corporate law matters, including start-ups, M&A transactions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, investments, reorganisations, shareholder/investment agreements, and some AIM work.
2. Partnerships, LLPs, and Scottish Limited Partnerships.
3. Advising clients on corporate governance issues such as directors’ conflicts of interest, board composition, trading issues, and shareholder relations.
4. Advising clients on commercial contracts occasionally.
5. Providing corporate support to other teams within the firm.
