Senior Associate (Corporate M&A & VC) - Top 50 UK law - London

Taylor Root have partnered with a Top 50 UK law firm in their search for an experienced Senior Corporate Solicitor to join their London office. This role would be suitable for candidates with 4+ PQE.

The Firm

Regionally excellent, our client is renowned for its outstanding practice areas and supportive nature. Frequently ranked among the top UK-based law firms to work for, the firm has expanded significantly in London following a recent merger. They often operate in the mid-market, filling the gap left by the internationalisation of firms like Eversheds and Pinsent Masons.

The Team

The Corporate Practice in London has a strong background in transactional work and ambitions to grow and expand their lean team. They advise clients ranging from start-ups and spinouts to substantial companies, management teams, and institutions on a broad range of corporate issues and transactions, much of which is international in nature.

The Role

You will work across various transactions which will include mergers & acquisitions (M&A), venture capital, and joint ventures. You will also work with a Partner that specializes in investment rounds for investors and companies, from early-stage (seed) to later-stage investments.

The Ideal Candidate

Given the nature of this role, you will need previous strong experience in M&A work, experience with investment rounds, and some familiarity with the technology and life sciences sectors. This experience will have ideally been gained at a leading City, Regional, or National practice. You will need to be at least 4+ PQE.
