Overview

An opening exists for an experienced UK/Commonwealth qualified corporate lawyer to join the Guernsey office of a major offshore law firm. The role focuses on a range of transactions under Guernsey law, working closely with respected experts on a broad practice that is likely to focus on corporate but may also include corporate finance and funds work.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of corporate transactions under Guernsey law.
• Work closely with senior lawyers and contribute to client management and business development efforts.
• Provide top-tier international work in a meritocratic environment that supports career development.

Requirements

• Admitted in the UK, Ireland or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada or South Africa).
• Minimum of 4 years’ PQE (all suitable applicants considered).
• Strong experience in corporate transactions gained with a good commercial law firm.

Package

• Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience), 20% tax rate.
