Job summary

S-RM in London is seeking an experienced Case Manager for the Former Soviet Union team within Corporate Intelligence. The role combines investigative expertise, project management and client engagement to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes.

You will lead complex engagements, build regional networks and mentor junior staff, with a hybridLondon-based arrangement requiring two days on-site per week. UK work entitlement is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Corporate Intelligence/Strategic Intelligence industry.
• Proven ability to read and research to a high-standard in Russian is required.
• Proficiency in further foreign languages is also desirable.
• Experience leading on complex engagements, including due diligence and high-stakes investigations with a focus on FSU/CEE.
• Deep understanding of political, economic, commercial and legal dynamics across the FSU region.
• Excellent open source research skills and confidence in regional human source enquiries.
• Ability to plan, staff and manage CI projects within budget and timelines, with QA responsibility.
• Experience in client communication and relationship building including scoping and proposals.
• Strong oral and written communication, with feedback to team members.
• Experience mentoring and managing junior colleagues and upholding quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of complex investigative engagements from scoping to delivery.
• Analyse information from diverse sources to produce accurate findings.
• Conduct human source enquiries across the Former Soviet Union.
• Present findings to clients via verbal briefings and senior stakeholder meetings.
• Identify opportunities for additional project work within existing client relationships.
• Develop research capabilities and professional network across the FSU region.
• Mentor and support analysts to promote high-quality investigative standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of investigative best practice.
