UKRN is seeking a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst to work on major water sector capex projects, bringing experience in infrastructure, project or corporate finance to a strategic regulatory environment.

You will contribute to financing and delivery strategies, collaborating across project delivery, commercial strategy and economic regulation, and supporting investor engagement for MWIP and related financing work.

The Senior Corporate Finance Analyst role is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone with experience of infrastructure, project or corporate finance to work on the most important capital projects in the water sector, while gaining exposure to innovative private finance and delivery models. This will primarily be through competitive delivery models such as Ofwat’s Direct Procurement for Customers (“DPC”) model or the Specified Infrastructure Projects Regulations (“SIPR”), as used in the delivery of the Thames Tideway Tunnel project.

The Senior Corporate Finance Analyst rolehas an important and valuable contribution to enable us to deliver on our goals and regulatory commitments. In this role, you will support the delivery and financing of the UK’s largest water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You may have a background in regulation, finance, consulting, banking, or investment and want to apply your knowledge in a strategic regulatory setting.

You will contribute to shaping how major projects are financed and delivered, working across project delivery, commercial strategy, and economic regulation to secure value for customers. This includes supporting defined pieces of works or small workstreams within large projects that are focused on supporting investor engagement for the MWIP, assessment of the financing of projects in the pipeline, and developing guidance around these topics.
