What You'll Do

Your role as Senior Corporate Counsel will focus on maintaining up-to-date global corporate compliance and supporting Mimecast's growth through various corporate matters and projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing corporate matters such as company registrations, records, board meetings, and statutory filings, especially in the UK and India;
  • Developing systems to monitor and report on compliance, focusing on continuous improvement;
  • Collaborating with finance, treasury, accounting, and HR on compliance issues and risk management;
  • Drafting and reviewing agreements including intercompany, engagement letters, vendor contracts, and indemnifications;
  • Communicating with stakeholders about issues or risks in your area;
  • Monitoring legal and industry developments affecting corporate law;
  • Managing outside legal advisors for transactional and governance matters;
  • Supporting mergers and acquisitions due diligence and deliverables;
  • Handling new entity formations for global expansion.
