Job summary

QED Legal is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer in Leeds for a Senior Associate or Principal Associate role, focusing on M&A for a substantial base of regional clients and a sizeable private equity roster.

The position offers the chance to undertake cross-border work, secondments, and to develop an international practice within a well-resourced team, with coaching responsibilities for junior lawyers and involvement in BD activities.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years’ PQE in corporate law, with strong M&A experience.
• Experience coaching junior lawyers and involvement in business development.
• Cross-border or private equity exposure is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage M&A deals for major regional clients and international work.
• Supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development activities.
