Senior Corporate Associate (M&A)- 4 PQE+
National Law firm| London | £85,000 - £100,000

A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leading corporate team at this top tier national practice, in London.

The firm, which ranks as one of the top 20 in the UK, is arguably the largest and widest-reaching domestic UK law firm.

The London corporate team handles high-value, complex, and challenging matters for clients both domestically and internationally across the renewable energy, life sciences, technology, media, telecoms, financial services, and retail sectors.

My client are currently looking to add a talented corporate lawyer, with strong experience and interest in M&A work (public or private), in addition to Venture Capital work (beneficial rather than required).

The salary bracket for the roles starts at £85k from 4 PQE, up to £100k at 7 PQE, in addition to a relatively industry standard bonus scheme, activated for hitting the hours target of 1400.

The successful corporate associate joining this team will handle a full range of corporate work, which will include:

Mergers & Acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital, fundraising, shareholder agreements and joint ventures, as well as general corporate advisory work.

This position is ideally suited to a senior corporate associate, from four years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

· A strong academic background
· Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
· Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience in business development and client relationship management

With regards to hybrid working, my client operates a 60% office attendance policy, with the option to also work from any of their regional offices.
