Job Description

The UK Corporate Finance Manager will be responsible for corporate finance processes for OW in the UK, including management of shareholder and external debt, hedges, credit support requirements, insurance, and economic modelling support.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Management of modelling resources for all UK projects and support for OW UK and Madrid teams, including but not limited to:
  • Monthly/quarterly models for UK project boards
  • Project models for sell-down in UK
  • Project models for re-financing in UK
  • Project modelling for UK bids (offtake, sites)
  • Modelling support for OFTO sale
  • Budget updates for Madrid project controls team
  • Support to Project Controls teams in UK
  • Support from the UK in the sell-down of UK projects
  • Support from the UK to the business development team for site and offtake bids
  • Management of corporate finance agreements and relationships with shareholders, sponsors, and lenders, including:
  • Leading relationships with UK commercial lenders during construction or development phases
  • Placement and management of project finance (SHLs, EBLs, Senior Debt)
  • UK lead on refinancing activities, supporting Madrid team as needed
  • Placement and management of pre-hedges and full hedges on UK projects
  • Management of credit support requirements, including:
  • Placing and managing credit support for UK projects
  • Managing guaranteed agreements and fees for credit support
  • Managing UK insurance functions, including:
  • Ownership of all UK insurance renewals
  • Ensuring adequate coverage for ongoing needs
  • Managing claims through to settlement
  • Supporting UK projects with approvals/investment decisions, leading finance committees
  • Managing the UK corporate finance team, including:
  • Team development
  • Objective setting and performance reviews

REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS: University Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

Experience with economic modelling for infrastructure projects, project reporting, advanced Excel modelling skills, and knowledge of project finance and equity bridge loans. Knowledge of energy or infrastructure projects, with strong communication skills.

Skills/Competencies: Results-oriented, excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are valued.
