Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Coronial Investigator for a 4‑month contract with a local authority in London. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Coroner's Service or similar investigative setting.
• Proven ability to manage and advance complex casework involving sensitive and distressing situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of coronial investigations and inquests, handling sensitive cases.
• Collect evidence, witness statements, medical documentation and social histories.
• Present findings to the Coroner to support judicial decisions.
• Coordinate post‑mortem examinations and related procedures.
• Ensure disclosure and legal procedures are followed.
