Job summary

TSR Legal is supporting a well established law firm in Cheltenham with the appointment of an experienced Senior Conveyancing Paralegal to join the conveyancing team. The role requires 2–4 years’ experience and offers autonomy to progress matters under a senior fee earner.

You will independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload, handle sales and remortgages, maintain client communications, draft documents and ensure timely progression.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience within residential conveyancing.
• Strong practical knowledge of the conveyancing process.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Experience supporting a senior fee earner or solicitor.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and third parties.
• Good understanding of title, searches, enquiries, exchange and completion.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A proactive approach with ownership of matters.
• Ability to escalate issues to supervising fee earner.

Responsibilities

• Independently progressing residential conveyancing matters.
• Supporting a senior fee earner with a varied caseload.
• Handling sales, purchases, remortgages and other residential property matters.
• Managing client communication and providing regular updates.
• Drafting correspondence and legal documentation.
• Raising and responding to enquiries.
• Reviewing title documentation and searches.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Managing exchange and completion requirements.
• Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within required timescales.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records.
• Assisting with post-completion requirements.
• Identifying issues and escalating appropriately where required.
• Providing a high level of client service throughout the conveyancing process.
