Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program and commission control systems for smoke control, ventilation and related applications in Aylesbury. You will program PLC-based systems, test on-site and troubleshoot to optimise performance, with training provided on Mitsubishi PLC software.

The role involves working across projects, with travel to customer sites and a focus on delivering reliable control solutions for diverse environments in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience across control system design, programming and commissioning.
• Strong PLC-based control systems experience.
• Willing to travel to site locations and work on diverse projects.

Responsibilities

• Design control systems for smoke control, ventilation and general-purpose applications.
• Program PLC-based control systems and general-purpose input/output modules.
• Commissioning and testing control systems on-site.
• Troubleshooting, modifying and optimising control systems.
• Provide technical support throughout projects from initial design through to customer handover.
