Job summary

Tiger Resourcing Group in Rotherham, United Kingdom, seeks a Senior Control Systems Engineer to drive cutting-edge control projects and lead a small engineering team. You will develop PLC/SCADA software, manage documentation, and coordinate with clients and suppliers across project lifecycles.

Candidate will train junior engineers, manage time and workloads, and contribute to commissioning and on-site work, with potential offshore opportunities.

Qualifications

Graduate-level education with at least 6 years in process control, safety, or automation systems/applications.
Proven experience developing PLC/SCADA software for major manufacturers.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams to deliver cutting-edge control system projects and produce lifecycle documentation.
Develop software and test procedures within project timelines.
Mentor and train less experienced engineers within the business.
Interface with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, participating in design meetings.
Participate in project development, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site and offshore.
