Motor Control Software Engineer (Senior / Principal)
Location: Warwickshire, UK
Salary: £65-75k + bonus + benefits (negotiable)
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software engineer to develop motor control software for a broad variety of customers across multiple e-mobility / electric vehicle sectors.
Based in Leamington Spa.
Required:
You will be involved in taking customer projects from concept to prototype, developing systems from scratch, and bringing solutions through hardware integration and lab testing to validated prototypes ready for customer handover.
This role requires experience in embedded C software development or model-based software development using Matlab / Simulink.
Candidates should have a systems appreciation and ideally have worked within various e-mobility domains (e.g., automotive, aerospace, off-highway, marine, etc.).
Skills / experience required:
Our client seeks a senior or principal motor control software engineer to help transition proof of concepts into prototypes and production-ready designs.
Domain knowledge of motor control software development for vehicle propulsion (land, sea, or air) is essential.
This principal engineer role is onsite (3 days/week) and accessible from Birmingham, Redditch, Solihull, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leamington Spa, Banbury, Daventry, Rugby, Coventry, and Lutterworth.
