This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software engineer to develop motor control software for a broad variety of customers across multiple e-mobility / electric vehicle sectors.
Based in Leamington Spa.
In this role, you will take customer projects from concept to prototype, developing systems from scratch, integrating hardware, and conducting lab testing to produce validated prototypes ready for customer handover.
This role requires experience in embedded C software development OR model-based software development using Matlab / Simulink.
Candidates should have a systems understanding and ideally have worked within various e-mobility domains (e.g., automotive, aerospace, off-highway, marine).
The client seeks a senior or principal motor control software engineer to advance proof of concepts to prototypes and production-ready designs. Domain knowledge in motor control software for vehicle propulsion (land, sea, or air) is essential.
This principal engineer role is onsite three days a week and is accessible from Birmingham, Redditch, Solihull, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leamington Spa, Banbury, Daventry, Rugby, Coventry, and Lutterworth.
