Job summary

UPS Healthcare Marken in London is seeking a Contract Specialist to draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while collaborating with sales, operations, procurement, finance, quality, and leadership.

You will manage high volumes of contracts from intake to execution, applying templates and approved risk frameworks to accelerate deal closure and ensure compliance. The role emphasizes cross-functional partnership, attention to detail, and autonomous work style.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of commercial contract management or related experience.
  • Strong drafting and redlining skills.
  • Experience with CLM systems is preferred.
  • Background in healthcare, logistics, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, redline, and negotiate customer, vendor, confidentiality, and related commercial agreements.
  • Manage contract requests end-to-end from intake through execution.
  • Support master service agreements, statements of work, amendments, work orders, and procurement contracts.
  • Identify contractual risks and elevate matters requiring attorney review when necessary.
  • Apply approved contract playbooks and fallback positions to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Partner with business development teams to accelerate revenue opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, quality, finance, procurement, and risk management stakeholders.
  • Maintain contract records within CLM systems (including Icertis).
  • Support contract reporting and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work autonomously with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Assist with customer RFPs and commercial proposals.

About the Role

The Contract Specialist at UPS Healthcare - Marken, serves as a key member of the commercial legal team supporting UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering commercial agreements while partnering closely with sales, operations, procurement, finance, quality, and business leadership. You will manage high volumes of commercial contracts and drive efficient deal execution through the use of templates, playbooks, and approved risk frameworks.

What you'll do

Qualifications & Skills
  • 2–4 years of commercial contract management, contract administration, procurement contracting, paralegal, or related experience.
  • Strong drafting and redlining skills.
  • Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems preferred.
  • Experience supporting commercial contract reviews within a large organization preferred.
  • Background in healthcare, logistics, transportation, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals preferred.
