Job summary

Browne Construction, a leading UK contractor in water and civil engineering, seeks a Contracts Manager to lead rising main installations and wastewater projects. You will own project plans, build client relationships, manage subcontractors and guide teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include scoping, resourcing, and delivering within time, budget and quality targets, while driving best-practice and maintaining strong stakeholder management across the programme.

Qualifications

• Proven background managing wastewater or civil engineering infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial understanding and experience controlling project costs.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts and project lifecycle management.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in water and wastewater delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery and coordination of rising main installations and wastewater projects.
• Develop project plans, resource and subcontractor management, and client relations.
• Ensure delivery to timelines, budgets and quality standards with safe practices.
• Guide teams and drive best-practice approaches across programmes.
