Job summary

Taylor Made Recruitment is supporting a well-established Midlands roofing and cladding contractor to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager. You will own project delivery end-to-end on multi-million schemes and work closely with site teams, design, commercial and finance to ensure delivery excellence.

The role offers real accountability, autonomy and the chance to lead live £1-5 million projects across the Midlands, with strong process support and a path to further seniority within a growing SME.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within a roofing and cladding subcontracting environment.
• Strong background delivering projects for Tier 1 main contractors.
• Excellent technical knowledge of flat roofing and cladding systems.
• Experience managing large-scale, high-value projects (£1m-£3m).
• Strong leadership with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to zero-harm culture, quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Ability to support design teams, oversee site managers and liaise across departments.
• UK industry experience is essential.
• Ideally based within an hour of the Midlands and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for 3-5 live, high-value roofing and cladding projects at any one time.
• Projects are substantial, well-planned schemes with minimal small reactive jobs.
• Predominantly Midlands-based projects with no regular overnight stays.
• Reporting directly to an Operations Director with delivery focus.
• Collaborating with site teams, design, commercial and finance departments.
• Shaping the future success of a growing SME.
