Job summary

One Way invites an experienced Contracts Manager to its Hampshire-based construction team. You will oversee the successful delivery of diverse projects, coordinating Site Managers, QS and subcontractors to deliver on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have a solid background in main contracting, experience across commercial, education or healthcare sectors, and a proven ability to manage client relationships while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects for a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, programming and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Managing and supporting Site Managers and delivery teams.
• Monitoring programmes, progress, quality, and health and safety.
• Working with commercial teams to maintain financial control and profitability.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and procurement.
• Attending client, consultant and progress meetings.
• Identifying and resolving issues to maintain programme and quality.
• Supporting pre-construction planning and project mobilisation.
• Ensuring compliance with contracts, procedures and safety standards.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and project handovers.
