Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our specialist infrastructure team, focusing on EV charging infrastructure and secure public-sector sites. You will oversee contractual and commercial aspects across multiple projects, coordinating with Project Managers and delivery teams.

The role requires a background in M&E, electrical infra, construction or related sectors, with knowledge of NEC forms and robust negotiation and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Proven Contracts Manager or similar experience.
• Experience in M&E, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, construction, civil engineering or a related sector.
• Knowledge of NEC and other standard forms of contract.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing contractual risks, variations and claims.
• Competent with contract management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual aspects of projects from award through to completion.
• Review, negotiate and administer contracts and subcontracts.
• Ensure client, contractual and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide contractual support to Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Manage client, supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor variations, change control, claims, risks and contract performance.
• Maintain accurate contractual records and reporting.
• Report contractual risks, opportunities and financial performance to senior management.
• Support tenders, bids and framework opportunities.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance requirements are incorporated into projects.
• Manage confidential and commercially sensitive information.
• Support continuous improvement across contract management and project delivery.
