Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead EV charging hub installation projects from mobilisation through completion. You will oversee civils works, manage a site team and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery on a UK site.

The role requires a hands-on manager with strong communication skills, NEC contract familiarity and a background in infrastructure or groundworks. A CSCS card and SMSTS are essential, with additional tickets beneficial.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Site Manager/Site Supervisor
• Strong civils, groundworks, highways or infrastructure experience
• Experience in excavation, concreting, drainage, groundworks
• EV charging or electrical infrastructure experience desirable
• Experience managing subcontractors and site operatives
• Client-facing with strong communication skills
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and construction documentation

Responsibilities

• Overall management of EV charging hub installation projects
• Maintain health & safety, RAMS, toolbox talks and site inspections
• Manage programme, labour, plant and materials
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality standards
• Provide client communication and progress reporting
• Manage variations, site records and documentation
• Ensure works delivered to drawings, specs and programme
• Support handover, O&M manuals and as-built information

Ideal background:

A hands-on Civils Site Manager from an infrastructure, highways, utilities, groundworks or EV environment who is confident managing a site and workforce from mobilisation through to completion.

Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager / Site Supervisor
• Strong civils, groundworks, highways or infrastructure background
• Experience in excavation, concreting, drainage and associated groundworks
• EV charging or electrical infrastructure experience desirable
• Experience managing subcontractors and site operatives
• Client-facing experience with strong communication skills
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and construction documentation

Qualifications / Tickets

• Gold CSCS Card - essential
• SMSTS - essential
• First Aid (minimum 3-day)
• Temporary Works Supervisor
• NRSWA Supervisor / Lantra 12D
• SEATS
• HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or related discipline - preferred
• Full clean UK driving licence
