Job summary

Moog is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager for its Commercial Aircraft Group in the UK. The role involves providing contractual support to OEM teams in the US and UK, developing bid strategies and risk mitigation for contract execution.

You will help craft policies to strengthen regulatory compliance across international subsidiaries and collaborate with Law, Trade Compliance, Tax and Risk Management. Responsibilities include leading negotiations, drafting complex contracts, and due diligence

Qualifications

• Master's degree or JD with 10+ years in contract-related work.
• At least 12 years of advanced contracts experience including negotiating and drafting.
• Extensive international experience with export licensing, INCOTERMS, VAT and tariffs.
• Fluency in another language is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual support to the Commercial Aircraft Groups OEM business teams in the US and UK.
• Develop contractual bid strategies and structuring risk minimization for contract execution challenges.
• Develop and oversee policies and procedures to strengthen contracting and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Law, Trade Compliance, Tax, Risk Management on international transactions.
• Train program management on Moog agreements, terms, changes and negotiations.
• Perform due diligence for Moog acquisitions related to contracting and export compliance.
• Provide global support, possibly outside normal hours and time zones.
• Occasionally travel internationally and/or domestically.
