A leading company in the UK construction industry is seeking a Senior Construction Contracts Manager with extensive experience in public sector projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, exhibit excellent leadership skills, and be capable of managing multiple projects effectively. Candidate Profile - Senior Construction Contracts Manager Salary Band: £70,000 - £80,000 + Package
Must come from main contractor background (SME preferred)
Proven track record in public-sector construction projects
Currently operating at senior/head of contracts level
Demonstrable experience in framework delivery
Strong presence in Wales/West Midlands construction sector preferred
Minimum 8 years in construction contract management
Must demonstrate projects delivered ahead of programme
Strong history of maintaining project margins
Experience with public sector frameworks
NEC4 and JCT contract expertise
Track record of successful supply chain management
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
History of implementing process improvements
Technical Skills:
Expert understanding of construction contracts
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
Advanced understanding of public sector procurement
Proficient with construction management software
Ability to analyse and improve project performance
Qualifications:
MCIOB preferred
Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field
Full UK driving licence
