Job summary

Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join a well-established construction business. You will oversee multiple refurbishment and maintenance projects from quotation to completion, ensuring tight control of budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracts management, exceptional client and subcontractor liaison, and a proactive, hands-on approach. A full UK driving license is essential, with SMSTS/CSCS desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or contracts management.
• Knowledge of Schedules of Rates (SOR) is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• SMSTS or CSCS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple projects from initial quotation through to completion.
• Preparing quotations using Schedules of Rates (SOR).

• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
• Managing variations and additional works.
• Attending site visits and client meetings.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong background in Construction or Contracts Management
• Excellent working knowledge of Schedules of Rates (SOR) - essential
• Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Confident dealing with clients and subcontractors
• Proactive, hardworking and able to take ownership of projects
• Full UK driving licence essential
• SMSTS or CSCS desirable
