Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead large-scale refurbishment and property services projects across multiple sites in the UK. You will manage contracts, drive commercial performance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, procurement expertise, and a solid understanding of health and safety. Travel between sites and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a refurbishment main contractor.
• Significant experience managing multiple contracts, sites, and operational teams simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and drive high-performing teams.
• Excellent commercial awareness including procurement, subcontractor management, and supply chain engagement.
• Strong analytical and data interrogation skills with ability to use performance data to inform decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and project tracking/reporting systems.
• Outstanding client relationships and stakeholder management skills.
• Thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence, collaborate and deliver results through others.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale refurbishment and planned works programmes across multiple sites.
• Direct and develop project teams and subcontractors to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes.
• Oversee procurement, cost control, and contract administration to maximise value.
• Maintain safe working environments and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

About You

• Relevant construction qualifications and/or professional memberships.
