Telent Technology Services Ltd in the UK is seeking a Head of Contracts to lead the management, negotiation and execution of service contracts. The role includes developing a team of contract managers and driving high performance in a hybrid setup.

This 12-month fixed term contract focuses on delivering financial targets, ensuring SLA/KPI achievement, and maintaining governance across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive value and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing high-value contracts and delivering financial performance.
• Experience leading and developing a team of contract managers in facilities management or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Contract Managers, driving high performance and continuous improvement.
• Take full ownership of contract financial performance, including budgets, forecasts and delivery of financial targets.
• Oversee the negotiation, administration and management of service contracts and minor works agreements.
• Ensure all contracts achieve agreed SLAs, KPIs and commercial objectives.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex contractual issues, disputes and service performance concerns.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company governance requirements, including health & safety and procurement standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, driving contract performance, cost efficiency and operational excellence.
