A leading environmental solutions company is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager responsible for managing contracts in the energy sector. This role requires significant experience in waste and energy operations, focusing on client relationship management and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and relevant technical qualifications, with opportunities for contract-to-permanent employment.
Recruiting for a Senior Contracts Manager to work for the UK's leader in Environmental Solutions (Waste, Energy & Recycling). The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing contracts within the industrial engineering department, focusing on operations & maintenance of major energy facilities such as EFw or high-temperature incinerators (EP HTI) used for hazardous waste disposal.
The role involves managing contracts within the Engineering portfolio, utilizing resources effectively to meet service delivery, budget targets, and contractual obligations in compliance with legislation. The candidate will engage regularly with customers and site teams, conduct site visits, build rapport with clients, and develop additional Veolia services across the contract portfolio. Assisting the General Manager in managing and executing Veolia's corporate objectives and continuous improvement initiatives is also key.
Ideal candidates will have experience as a Contracts Manager or higher, working within the waste or energy industry, maintaining heavy industrial operations. This position offers a great opportunity for a contract role that could transition to permanent employment. The company is a global waste, energy & recycling corporation with a turnover exceeding GBP 3 billion.
Experience delivering O&M services within the energy sector as a Contract Manager or above.
H&S qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safety or NEBOSH.
Technical background in energy, with an HNC or equivalent in Engineering or tertiary qualification.
Strong commercial and contractual experience.
Renewable energy experience is beneficial.
Electrical experience is beneficial.
Experience with CEF contracts is advantageous.
