Position
We have a great Senior Contracts Manager opportunity to join our Defence Commercial, Legal & Contracts team.

Key Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in:
- Providing advice and recommendations on commercial issues, risks, liabilities, and opportunities related to business relationship agreements, bids, and projects.
- Developing commercial propositions for major business-winning campaigns.
- Supporting senior management and participating in commercial negotiations with customers, consortium partners, procurement, subcontractors, and other third parties.
- Advising bid and project teams on UK and international contracts, including Direct Selling Costs, Credit Insurance, Bank Guarantees, and Letters of Credit.
- Responding to and negotiating customer contractual agreements and changes, including managing such changes with senior management.
- Identifying and managing issues and disputes with customers in collaboration with the Legal team.
About You
Ideally, you’ll:
- Have a commercial background with experience managing contracts, risks, or a legal background with commercial experience.
- Have experience working within complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-site organizations.
- Possess multidisciplinary qualifications such as LLB, Engineering, Finance, or Programme Delivery (advantageous).
- Be skilled at building and managing relationships across all levels during bidding, negotiation, and delivery phases.
- Have proven analytical and written skills with the ability to understand pricing, risks, and contract mitigation.
