Job description
Overview

Manage the delivery of municipal services across the East & North Herts contract, including people, site and resources. Deliver effective and safe services to maximum operational efficiency, within budget, and to VMR standard. Develop and maintain relations with key stakeholders (client, members, residents, staff).

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all operations are run in compliance with VMR and any appropriate legislation.
  • Manage contract and client to deliver key financial goals.
  • Work in close partnership with local operational teams to maximise service delivery.
  • Provide clear, transparent and accurate reporting of business performance.
  • Deliver operational efficiencies through use of digital tools, asset utilisation and cost control.
  • Manage monthly financial performance.
  • Deliver the contract against required budgets and KPIs.
  • Present contract reviews and monthly reports.
  • Support the organisation’s Disability Confident and fair treatment commitments, including adjustments where reasonable and appropriate.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.
  • Waste management experience.
  • Risk management and fleet management experience.
  • Client management experience.
