Job summary

Retail Insights is seeking a Senior Content Writer to own and develop our magazines from concept to publish. You will interview industry voices, research stories and craft compelling, polished content for our print and digital editions.

You will collaborate closely with a small executive team from our London HQ to maintain high editorial standards and a fast-paced growth trajectory. You should have a bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field and 5+ years of magazine or media experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or English with outstanding results.
• 5+ years of work experience in a magazine or media company; track record of high performance.
• UK work permit is required to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Research industry topics and develop story ideas for magazines.
• Interview relevant people to gather material for articles.
• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for magazines.
• Construct the magazines including photos, design and artwork with help from the Graphic Designer.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibility will be to build the greatest physical magazine which entails that you:

• Thoroughly research industry-related topics and ideas for stories and articles
• Interview relevant people
• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for our magazines
• Construct the magazines including photos, design and artwork (with help from our Graphic Designer)

• Are well‑organised and able to structure and prioritise your work
