Job Description

Senior Content Marketing Specialist (12 Months Contract)

Overview
Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications in Marketing, the Senior Content Marketing Specialist will play a central role in developing and delivering a high-impact content strategy that drives brand awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation. As part of a collaborative global marketing team that functions like an in-house agency, you will craft compelling content across formats and channels to support key business units and enterprise-wide initiatives.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will be responsible for managing content from concept to execution—developing editorial plans, aligning with business goals, partnering with stakeholders, overseeing production, and measuring performance. You will be instrumental in helping CSC deliver consistent, dynamic external communications that strengthen our market position and engage target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of CSC’s global content marketing strategy in alignment with marketing, sales, and business priorities.
  • Lead content initiatives from start to finish—developing content plans, gaining stakeholder buy-in, collaborating with internal and external partners, and overseeing production and delivery.
  • Produce a wide range of editorial assets, including blogs, thought leadership reports, insight reports, case studies, social media content, and digital campaigns.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with external content agencies, freelance writers, designers, and copyeditors, ensuring quality and alignment with brand voice and strategy.
  • Ensure content is optimized for multiple channels and formats, balancing long-form and short-form content to meet the needs of various audiences.
  • Work closely with business unit leads, subject matter experts, and marketing colleagues to uncover compelling stories and translate complex topics into clear, engaging content.
  • Align content with campaign messaging strategy and journey mapping to support lead generation and customer nurturing.
  • Oversee editorial governance, including editorial calendars, workflows, approvals, and review processes.
  • Manage content operations within the project management system, ensuring visibility, accountability, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and report on content performance, using analytics and insights to continuously improve quality, reach, and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in content marketing, communications, journalism, or related field, preferably within a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise, and engaging narratives.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering content strategies that drive measurable marketing and business outcomes.
  • Experience managing multi-format content development across digital platforms, including websites, social media, email, and paid media.
  • Strong project management skills and experience overseeing end-to-end content production in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders and giving/receiving feedback in a constructive, solutions-oriented manner.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content performance analytics
  • A team-oriented mindset with a proactive, detail-focused, and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working with content agencies and freelance writers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial services, legal, or corporate governance sectors is an advantage but not required.

Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for a creative, strategic content marketer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about using storytelling to connect with audiences, support brand growth, and generate results.
