About The Role

Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Senior Content Executive to join our team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. The Senior Content Executive will work alongside the Creative Producer and Digital Marketing Executive to develop and execute our ambitious brand and content strategy. Working with the UX Team and Product Teams, you will create content for our online experiences and devise and deliver imaginative marketing campaigns that engage and delight our customers.

Adept at campaign development and storytelling, you’ll bring your skills at creating compelling concepts and words to a wide range of projects. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Tone of voice - Work with your manager & our partner agency to further develop and apply the new mfldirect tone of voice across all content and touchpoints. Act as the custodian of our tone of voice guidelines, ensuring all creative outcomes follow them.
  • Content strategy – Take the lead on developing our content strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals. Refine existing media and content types and find new media and mechanics for serving content, including:
  • Advertorial and thought leadership – Writing/commissioning high-quality content for use by our team or PR partners.
  • PR strategy – Engage with a PR agency to create and implement a strategy that proactively enhances our media presence.

You will also have the opportunity to focus on:

  • Campaigns & Projects - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information, formulate briefs, and work with creatives to generate engaging campaign concepts and content.
  • Product content – Deliver content focused on optimizing user experience on our websites.
  • Knowledge base – Establish key insights working groups with MI, Insight, and Customer Experience teams to generate content.
About You

You are a strategic creative thinker, who delights in coming up with concepts and campaigns that captivate and convert.

You are all about the big picture but also care about the fine details, and are comfortable managing multiple fast-moving projects.

You’re a storyteller who enjoys writing and creating content audiences love, capable of turning concepts and data into compelling activations.

You’re curious, collaborative, and passionate about driving teamwork to produce best-in-class work.

Minimum criteria:
  • Proven track record of campaign creation
  • Excellent content marketing skills
  • Extensive experience in copywriting or journalism
  • Ability to convert analysis into thought leadership pieces
  • Talent for translating brand values into stories
  • Social media experience in a business context
  • Experience managing agencies (PR experience is particularly desirable)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Strong research and organizational skills
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities
