Job summary

EY London is seeking a Senior Consultant in Transformation Programme Delivery to help mobilise and oversee enterprise-scale programmes. You will work with managers to turn strategy into actionable delivery plans, manage governance, and drive value realization across client projects.

In this role you will contribute to PMO/TMO setup, produce reports, manage resources and budgets, and coach junior colleagues while building strong client relationships in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industry and consulting, driving complex business transformation initiatives.
• Over 3 years of experience in programme delivery roles, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Exposure to recognised Programme Delivery Methods (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP).
• Ability to produce clear plans, reports, and presentations.
• Degree (or equivalent experience) and strong written/spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Programme Delivery - support the successful delivery of client projects by contributing to core Programme delivery process and coordinating the work of multidisciplinary EY delivery teams
• Programme Mobilisation – Assist in setting up TMO/PMO structures, governance packs, and reporting templates.
• Producing and reviewing Programme related reports, presentations and management information
• Managing aspects of resources, financial monitoring and delivery reporting
• Building effective client relationships– Coordinate workshops, prepare materials, and manage day-to-day client interactions.
• Risk & Assurance – Maintain RAID logs and support quality reviews.
• Team Contribution – Deliver high-quality outputs, coach junior colleagues, and actively participate in practice development.

The Opportunity

Do you want to play a key role in delivering complex, enterprise-scale transformation? As a Senior Consultant in Transformation Programme Delivery, you’ll help clients mobilise and manage and oversee critical programmes, turning strategic ambitions into structured, executable delivery plans. Working alongside managers and directors, you will play a key part in delivering complex, high-profile transformation programmes, helping clients achieve successful outcomes through effective planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and performance management.

Transformation Programme Delivery helps clients mobilise, govern and successfully deliver complex transformation. The practice provides programme, project and portfolio management capability across the transformation lifecycle, establishing effective delivery structures and governance, managing risks and dependencies, supporting programme recovery and maintaining focus on the achievement of strategic outcomes and value.

We establish and mobilise the Transformation Management Office (TMO) with governance to steer decisions. We lead transformation programmes end-to-end, managing risks, decisions, and benefits realisation.

Your Key Responsibilities

Skills and attributes for success

• Core Project Management skills; Project planning, Integrated planning and milestone management, RAID and dependency management
• Ability to coordinate and manage packages of work and core TPD processes (e.g. risk management).
• Strong analytical and financial skills; comfortable with modelling and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with programme financial management and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; confident preparing and presenting to stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Awareness of benefits realisation frameworks and value tracking.
