Job Title: Senior Consultant - TRA

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) to join our team. This role involves managing client portfolios, delivering TRA services, and contributing to business development within our consulting division.

Overall Job Purpose

Assist in managing the Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) client portfolio alongside Partners and Directors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of assignments at client sites.

Responsibilities

1. Control and manage the delivery of assignments, including Internal Audit support, External Audit support, or IT Advisory, ensuring completion within time and budget, and providing solutions to issues as appropriate.
2. Lead TRA teams and junior staff to ensure effective service delivery.
3. Manage an agreed client portfolio within the regional area.
4. Perform complex Financial Services TRA assignments.
5. Represent the firm in TRA matters, including attendance at client meetings and audit committees.
6. Draft proposals or assist in preparing tenders and participate in business development activities.
7. Build and maintain relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for additional work.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• CISA qualification.
• Relevant experience in IT Audit, Internal Audit, Financial Services, or Not-for-Profit sectors.
• Expertise in Cyber Risk Strategy.
• Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel, audit and accounts packages, Outlook.
• Strong technical knowledge of internal audit processes and sector issues.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in information systems or related field.
• Relevant SOX experience.
• Ability to manage own workload and deadlines, demonstrating responsibility and quality.
• Enthusiasm and commitment to tasks, with a focus on completion.
• Willingness to travel nationally (less than 30% of the time).
