Job Description:

The opportunity

Our objective is to continue being the market leader for remediation within the Financial Services sector. We collaborate and work closely with teams across EY, developing technology and regulatory risk-based solutions for our clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Supporting firms undertaking past business reviews and remediation programmes
• Supporting firms respond to actions agreed with the FCA including Section 166 reviews
• Supporting firms with issue identification and health checks, including assessing advice quality, systems, or measures taken to correct issues
• Working as part of a team to support remediation activities
• Product/file reviews and quality assurance support

You will:

• Contribute to the articulation of EY findings, conclusions, and recommendations in writing or verbally
• Provide input into regulatory standards and support solutions to resolve complex risks
• Support engagement leaders in project delivery
• Assist in engagement planning, management, and leading small teams
• Share responsibility, support, and update senior members on progress
• Help build proposals for new client opportunities

To qualify, you should have:

• Understanding of financial markets and regulatory standards
• Technical knowledge of financial products and regulated activities
• Strong academic background, ideally degree level
• FPC or QCF Level 4 qualification (preferred)

Ideally, you will also have:

• Strong report writing and presentation skills
• Prioritization and challenge skills
• Consulting experience and relationship-building abilities
