North Gate is seeking a Quantum Consultant with a strong background in dispute resolution to join our London team. You will advise on quantum, commercial, and contractual matters for major construction and engineering projects, and support expert witnesses in arbitration and dispute proceedings.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and, preferably, additional legal qualifications. A forensic, analytical mindset and excellent English communication are essential for success in

• Strong background in dispute resolution and related matters.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally with additional legal qualifications/memberships.
• A forensic mindset - analytical, problem-solving, and detail-driven.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• Background in building, infrastructure, oil & gas, or power sectors preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Advising clients on quantum, commercial, and contractual matters across major construction and engineering projects.
• Supporting Expert Witnesses in arbitrations, tribunals, and complex dispute proceedings.
• Assessing and preparing high-value claims, working closely with directors on forensic analysis and strategic advice.
• Collaborating with colleagues on landmark projects in excess of £1BN in value.
• Strong experience in quantum analysis and claims management, ideally from both consultancy and contractor environments.
• Background in building, infrastructure, oil & gas, or power sectors preferred.
