Job summary

Priory Hospital Burgess Hill is seeking a consultant psychologist for a 12-month maternity cover. The role focuses on assessing patients with complex needs in the acute and psychiatric intensive care wards for adult males, and developing formulation-led treatment plans using various therapies.

You will provide clinical leadership, supervise psychologists, assistants and trainees, and run reflective practice groups, with HCPC registration and at least five years at consultant level required.

Qualifications

• Must hold HCPC registration and be at consultant psychologist level.
• Minimum of five years post-registration experience at consultant level.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to psychologists, assistants and trainee psychologists.
• Assess and manage clients with complex needs.
• Develop and deliver formulation-led care using various therapeutic approaches.
• Deliver or oversee clinical supervision and run reflective practice groups.
• Support assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans to aid patient recovery.
