Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in Durham invites a Consultant to join the Easington Mental Health Team, delivering care to adults with mental illness in hospital and community settings.

You will lead the team, participate in daily huddles and decision meetings, perform assessments, develop treatment plans, supervise prescribing and reviews, and ensure respectful, rights-based care.

Responsabilités

• Lead the team and provide committed, proactive leadership in patient care.
• Participate in Daily Huddle and decision meetings to shape management plans.
• Ensure evidence-based prescribing and monitoring of pharmacological treatments and ECT where applicable.
• Contribute to formulation and complex patient review meetings and provide clinical advice.
• Respect patient rights and dignity, consider cultural needs, and engage families and carers as needed.
