We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Consultant - Linux & Automation to lead the design and delivery of Linux-based automation solutions for our client in West Sussex. This role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary of £45k-£65k, along with excellent benefits including a strong bonus (10-30%), 29 days holiday (progressing to 33), medical and dental coverage, and more.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership: Manage planning and delivery of large-scale Linux and automation projects, ensuring client objectives are met with innovative solutions.
2. Design and Architecture: Develop scalable, secure Linux systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
3. Technical Implementation: Configure Linux environments, deploy Zabbix monitoring systems, and create automation scripts to optimise infrastructure operations.
4. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions with excellent service.
5. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with teams in infrastructure, networking, cloud (AWS), virtualisation (Nutanix), and storage to deliver comprehensive solutions.
6. Mentorship: Support junior team members through technical guidance and fostering professional growth.

What We're Looking For

1. Proven experience in Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Perl, Python).
2. Hands-on expertise with Zabbix, Terraform, and Ansible.
3. Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
