Summary of This Role:

  • Lead and oversee complex evidence evaluation and network meta-analysis (NMA) projects, ensuring robust methodologies and high-quality outputs.
  • Provide statistical capabilities and methodological leadership throughout all project stages, from planning to completion.
  • Leverage expertise in evidence synthesis, systematic review methodologies, and advanced statistical techniques to design, develop, and deliver client solutions.
  • Apply proficiency in statistical theory, data analysis, interpretation, regression analysis, and various statistical software tools (such as WinBugs, R, Stata, Python, and SAS) to drive project success.

This role requires a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Health Economics, Health Policy, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.

Knowledge and Experience:
  • Training and extensive experience in health economics, including systematic literature reviews and network meta-analyses (8+ years, ideally in a consultancy environment).
  • Strong foundation in statistical concepts and methods, familiarity with predictive equations, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, meta-analysis, and hierarchical techniques.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and Bayesian statistics is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to learn quickly.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership/coaching.
  • Keen interest in medical research, healthcare provision, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Skills:
  • High analytical ability.
  • Excellent scientific, business writing, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, especially in conveying technical information.
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, flexibility.

  • Software skills: SAS (Base, Stat, Graph, Macro), R, SPSS, STATA, WinBUGS; Python is a plus.
Education:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences or quantitative disciplines such as health economics, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
