We are searching for an experienced Senior Consultant - ESG & Sustainability.

Overall Job Purpose

Are you an established ESG Consultant ready for your next challenge and wanting to make a difference?

RSM is experiencing significant demand for its ESG consultancy services across various markets. The firm has invested heavily in its ESG consultancy team and seeks to expand further.

As part of our goal to become the leading provider to the middle market, RSM aims to deepen its ESG services to meet increasing demand and undertake larger projects. This Senior Consultant role will be pivotal in delivering ESG consulting engagements and will require business and commercial acumen to ensure success. Opportunities to contribute to business development and service innovation will also be part of the role.

Working within a diverse team and closely with clients, establishing trust and credibility, and building effective relationships are essential.

You should be an active listener, proactive, and have prior experience in ESG projects that have delivered tangible value. A good understanding of current business and economic issues is also important.

As a Senior Consultant, your focus will be on excellent client delivery, requiring strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. You will also engage in business development, network within the firm, shape targeting campaigns, meet prospective clients, produce case studies, and develop methodologies.

In return, you will be part of an agile, dynamic, entrepreneurial team within a leading business advisory firm, part of a global network operating in around 120 countries.

Essential

• A strong academic record, preferably with a business focus and post-graduate level.
• Significant experience in areas such as Sustainability Strategy, Governance, Risk Management, Performance Management, ESG Strategy, supply chain risk/opportunities, ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, CSRD), management reporting, ESG transformation, strategic planning, and assurance of ESG data.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Alignment with RSM’s core values: excellence, teamwork, integrity, respect, and stewardship.

Desirable

• An MBA or MSc in ESG/Sustainability or related postgraduate qualification, such as CFA in ESG investing.
• Experience in project/programme management.
• Practical experience working within an ESG function.
