Your new role

  1. Project Delivery: Collaborate with international project teams and advisors to manage and support the delivery of due diligence (ESG and EHS) and ESG/sustainability projects. Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget, contributing to project success.
  2. Technical Expertise: Work closely with sustainability experts and technical consultants to deliver outstanding projects. Innovate and develop new service areas and products for our clients.
  3. Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about the ever-changing sustainable finance and disclosure landscape. Provide technical consulting advice to clients based on regulatory updates.
  4. Client Relationships: Cultivate new client relationships and strengthen existing ones. Actively engage in business development, identify opportunities, write proposals, and close deals.
  5. Thought Leadership: Establish the business as a trusted thought leader in sustainable finance. Champion independent and innovative solutions for our clients.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2 to 15 years’ experience in a related position (ESG advisory, ESG/EHS due diligence, financial services consulting)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, business).
  • Experience working with, or in, private equity, corporates, or the financial services sector.
  • Understanding of the due diligence process and demonstrable experience in managing due diligence projects.
  • Passion for creating a more sustainable future.
  • Technical knowledge of sustainability topics, key ESG standards and frameworks, and latest developments in the ESG and sustainable finance space within Europe and the UK (EU CSRD, EU Taxonomy, UK SDR, EU SFDR, CSDDD, ESRS, ISSB, etc.).
  • Technical understanding of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) issues and liabilities, including contamination, as well as key UK and EU regulations and international standards.
